Read and Save the facts and information sheet included with your
Professional Hopper Gun Item No. 52-005, as it has info on cleaning, disassembly,
reassembly, questions and answers, problems and solutions and above all, a parts list for
replacement parts.
Further information such as
applying the enhanced non-skid Mega-Liner material, comprehensive safety information,
alternative surface preparations and Mega-Liner Chemical Resistance properties will be
found in the Reference manual.
ML 2000
Note: ML 2000 and 1000 can be sprayed with a 3000 PSI airless spray unit for
hard to reach areas.
Note: ML - 1000, ML- 2000 Black and Neutral
should always be stored between 65 and 85 degrees for best results. This material cannot
be warmed up prior to spraying. It must be brought up to temperature gradually.
MLPRI 2000 is now gray for better
visibility!!!
DO'S |
DON'TS |
| 1. If it's winter always store your
material in a warm dry place that is a constant temp0erature of 65 to 80 degrees. 2. Always close your containers as quickly as possible to reduce the risk of
chance of moisture contamination.
3. Always remove masking as soon as possible with the ML 2000
to prevent dragging off of the freshly sprayed edges.
4. You can earn more money by refurbushing dry chalky
competitors bedliners with MLUV 2000. Just clean with solvent, prime with MLPRI-2000 and
apply. |
1. Never eyeball. Mixing portions
are very critical. Especially the C component in the ML 2000 NEUTRAL. 2. Try not to do custom colors that are lighter than the samples on our
sample ring with ML 2000. Lighter colors can suffer a color loss due to UV
exposure/damage.
3. Never use red or white laundered shop towels to wipe down
a bed with solvent. Oil, grease and contaminates in the rags will affect the adhesion of
the bedliner. It's best to use clean dry paper towels.
4. Don't coat over a new or un-baked non-factory finish with
out doing a solvent test. This will keep the bedliner from lifting. |
TIP: If when
mixing the ML-2000 bedliner, it gels too thick and stiff it very
well may have too much Component A in it. Solution: It may be thinned by adding one (1)
pint ( assuming you have a 2 gallon mix) of ML-2000 Component B to it. On the other hand
if the mixture is much too thin and will not gel it may have too much of the Component B
in the mixture. solution: Add one (1) pint of ML-2000 Component A to it. Once again
assuming that you have a 2 gallon mixture.
When in doubt about anything refer
to the "REFERENCE GUIDE" for
either ML-2000 or ML-1000 supplied to you by the Rend Corp. It would be a good idea to place these reference guides into a
notebook, if not already there, for protection and long life. |
