2. Sides, tape lines, under the bedrail. From the front panel of the bed, move down the right side seam to the floor, accross the front floor seam and up the left side seam to the top of the bed. Make a second pass along the front top tape line to insure a thick coat. Now fill in the rest of the front panel of the bed. Next, a crucial point here is the underside of the bedrail. Move from front of the bedrail to the rear keeping the hopper gun down low as possible and spraying up under the rail. NOTE: You will not be able to see under the rail so be careful and watch the tape line on the side of the rail. If the tape has an even coat on it then you know under the rail also has an even coat. Next, follow all the seam lines around the wheel well and where the bed meets the sides. Now complete the sides of the bed from front to rear insuring an overlap where the sides meet the floor at the corner seams. 3. Floor of the bed. Once the front panel tape lines and sides to include the underside of the bedrail are done the next step is the floor of the bed. In applying the bed liner to the floor of the bed, it is best to spray down the grooves or following the groove lines to insure even coverage. As you spray down the groove lines make your passes with the spray gun so that you will have approximately 50% overlap between the passes. Spray the grooves from directly above and be careful not to spray the grooves at an angl as this will cause one side of the groove to be thicker than the other. The bed liner at this point is not supposed to look attractive. That will come later when the texture coat is applied. 4. Tailgate Now spray the tail gate using the same techniques.
